Welcome to Bhalka Tirth Dham Temple
Many of us don't know about the history of bhalka Tirth temple. This temple is located in the Veraval religion of Saurashtra, Gujrat. This place tells the story of the death of Lord Krishna. Who was God for the Hindu religion? Lord Krishna was shot by an arrow that was hit by Jara. According to Puranas, it is said that after this incident Lord Krishna left this earth.

According to "Mahabharata" which is the holy book of Hindus. The great war between the Kauravas and Pandavas came to the end and as a result, all the Kauravas who are sons of gandhari were dead. Lord Krishna went to gandhari to offer his condolence on a night before Duryodhana's death. Gandhari was very upset because of her children's death in the great war of "Mahabharata" so she blamed Krishna by asking him that "why he did not put an end of the war as he was the Lord?"
And then she cursed him along with all Yadu dynasty Lord Krishna will also die within the span of 36 years. Krishna being the god himself knows about everything and he wanted this to happen because he also believed that yadus will become very arrogant so he blessed gandhari and bless her by saying "Thasthu".
After 36 years yadus fought internally and killed themselves. Lord Krishna was very upset because of this incident so he sat under the tree and started meditating. Hunter Jara was out for hunting and he mistook Lord Krishna's partly visibly left leg foot as deer and shot him.
And then she cursed him along with all Yadu dynasty Lord Krishna will also die within the span of 36 years. After this incident, Krishna told Hunter Jara that he was Bali in his previous birth and you were shot by me as a Rama and now in this birth you even it and he also add that Jara need not to worry about this because all the acts in this world are done according to his will only.
The place where this incident took place is beloved to be bhalka which is situated near Somnath. This place is now famous as Bhalka Tirth temple.
